THE EYE MAKEUP TOOLS YOU NEVER KNEW YOU NEEDED

Do you have a love-hate relationship with eye makeup? Meaning that you love wearing it, but getting to the finished result isn’t so easy? Turns out it’s all about the tools you use to get the job done. Hint: your fingers are not ideal.

Why can’t all makeup be like lip gloss? It’s. Just. So. Easy. You literally open it, apply it to your lips and it instantly brightens up your face and makes you ready to take on the world. And if you go for one of our new hyaluronic acid-infused Spin-On® Lip Glosses you’re also treating your lips to hydration at the same time as incredible shine. Skincare in your makeup products? Oh yeah!

But we digress, our point is that compared to the rest of the makeup world, lip gloss is a total no brainer. Take, eye makeup, for instance. Blink too heavily and your mascara ends up on your eyelids. Have anything less than a rock-steady hand and your eye liner ends up all over the place. And eye shadow? Don't get us started on how south that can go if you use too much of it.

The good news is that over the years we’ve learned some cunning tricks for nailing eye makeup and produced some incredible tools for helping you to achieve the looks you deserve. What’s more, you don’t have to go to makeup school in order to use them, nor do you have to throw a whole ton of money at them.

Keep scrolling for the Woosh eye makeup tools that might well change your life. OK, maybe just your makeup routine, but you get the idea…

Even Eye Stencils

peel off Even Eye Stencils in reusable pink plastic case

What They Are: Washable, reusable, 100 percent medical grade silicone stencils that you position under your eyes (don’t worry, they peel off very easily!) before applying your eye shadow and/or eye liner.

Why You Need Them: When it comes to tricky eye makeup, eye shadow is undoubtedly the slipperiest of customers. Not only does it go everywhere (other than where you actually intended!) but getting one eye to match the other can feel like an impossible task. Our Even Eye Stencils, however, remove both of these headaches quicker than a couple of Advil and an early night.

How To Use Them: Peel off the protective backing and position them under your eyes, making sure the longer, pointier end is at the outer corners. Then, you simply use them as guides to help you apply even, balanced eyeshadow and clean eye liner. Oh, and they’ll also catch any fallout for extra brownie points.

Once you’re done, gently peel them off your skin, give them a quick clean with warm water and mild soap, leave them to air dry and they’ll be ready to be used again and again.

The Corner Brush Eye Stamper

What It Is: Not to be big headed or anything, but our Corner Brush is, legitimately, the only V-shaped makeup brush in the entire world. With three patents to its name it stamps the exact shape you need for perfect eye makeup. Obsessed? Us? One thousand percent.

Why You Need It: No matter the season or the year, smokey eyes are always a makeup winner. If only they were easier to master. Actually, with our Corner Brush they’re almost impossible to screw up. That’s a bold statement, we know. But it’s one we truly believe. Even if you’re not a fan of smokey eyes, this baby helps you to place your eyeshadow at the right angle so you can fill in the rest of your eyelids and smudge out your color with zero mistakes.

How To Use It: For gorgeous eyeshadow, stamp the V-shaped end into your eye shadow then tap away any excess powder before pressing it into the outer corner of your eye, right above where your lashes end (below). Flip the brush over, then smudge your corner stamp inwards, bringing the color across your eye lids and adding extra shadow if you need it.

But wait, because that’s not all! You can also use this awesome brush to line the outer corners of your lashes with eye shadow. Simply move your initial stamp down slightly so that it wraps around the outer corner of the eye, rather than above it. Then you can use this as a guide to work your eye shadow above and below your lashes.

Mascara Shield

What It Is: A multi-purpose eyelash miracle worker that protects your freshly done lids, while separating your lashes and amplifying curl. Because, yes, it’s a shield, but it’s so much more than that…

Why You Need It: We always recommend applying mascara after the rest of your eye makeup. Why? Because it leaves a more clean finish to your lashes. It’s also way easier to apply shadow and liner if your lashes aren’t already covered in mascara. However, this has its drawbacks. For one thing, if you screw up your mascara you’ll likely have to do your entire eye makeup from scratch. Not ideal.

All this is why we created our Mascara Shield; to protect the skin above and below your lashes as you apply your favorite mascara (which, of course, is Like Magic Mascara, right?).

We also thought very hard about the perfect angles of this shield, contouring them to help your lashes curl up and out as you lavish them with mascara. Eyelash curlers? Who needs them?

How To Use It: Place the inner, bristled rim above your upper lashes (above) then look up and apply your mascara as normal. Then place the top edge of the shield underneath your lower lashline to protect the area beneath your eyes as you apply mascara to your bottom lashes. For extra lash separation, should you need it, the handle of this baby also doubles as a comb. Handy, huh?

The Arc Brush

What It Is: Another absolute great from our makeup brush line-up is the Arc Brush. Designed to help you apply your eye shadow like a liner, this double-ended brush has a unique (the patents say so!) curved end that’s angled to help you create three different eye liner looks quickly and easily. The other end can then be used to blend and smudge out your color as desired.

Why You Need It: Because perfecting winged eyeliner is no joke. Literally. Before the Arc Brush, we used to spend hours trying to get it right and screaming at the mirror because one side was thicker/longer/wonkier/darker than the other. Now, you just stamp, blend and go. It could not be easier.

How To Use It: Just like the Corner Brush, all you do is press the Arc Brush into your eye shadow and gently press it against your skin. Then you flip it over and use the other end to smudge or blend to your heart’s content.

For a gorgeous flick, position the arc end against the outer edge of your upper lash line with the curve facing up like a smile. Or, for a tight line all around the eyes, press the arc all around your lashline, flipping it so the curve faces down for your top lashline and up for your bottom lashline.

You can also use the Arc Brush to help you define the crease of your eyelids (above). Close one eye and, with the curve facing down (like a sad face), align the brush with the contour of your eye, around half way up the lid, and stamp color into the crease. Extend and smudge your shadow with the other end of the brush to increase the color or blend it out.
