Shine Bright Like a Diamond
Whether you call it highlighter, luminizer, or shimmer, it seems like most ladies fall into one of two camps when it comes to adding shine into their makeup routines: the "I will not leave home without it's" and the "Absolutely not for me's". Good news: this post is for all of you!
At Woosh, we want you to feel like your bestest, baddest self wearing as much or as little makeup as you want. Which is why we very intentionally put every makeup item you need to create every look you could want, from au natural to ultra glam, in our Fold Out Face makeup palette. This includes our "optional" final step - Shimmer.
Our shimmer is amazing. There, we said it. It complements a bare-face just as well as it accentuates a fully made-up face, adding a dewy glow wherever you place it. Because of the subtle shine it leaves behind, it's also one of the easiest, yet often overlooked, ways to instantly refresh your face. So, if you are a die-hard fan of highlighter, you'll want to get your hands on it ASAP. Read on for our pro-tips on how to apply shimmer.
1) Use a small angled brush (we like the smaller end of our Essential Contour Brush) to follow the lines of your face you want to highlight.
2) While you can apply anywhere you want, we recommend the very tops of your cheek bones, down the bridge of your nose, and/or in a C shape around your eyes. (It also doubles as a gorgeous eye shadow!)
3) When you're done applying, go back in with a larger brush and a little mineral powder (like our blender foundation powder in the Fold Out Face) and gently tap around to blend everything together.
