During the Hallmark Christmas Cruise this year, Woosh Beauty was very generous and delivered Boudoir Balm in Amour to everyone's door. I'm always skeptical about trying new brands, but I was pleasantly surprised with it being a wonderfully moisturizing lip balm. My favorite feature is the push button applicator!

I tried the Boudoir Balm in Satin. I wasn’t exactly sure what the color would look like, but I like it. The swatch looks more purple like the click button, but the shade of the stick looks more maroon as featured on the model on this page. On me, with naturally lighter skin and pinker lips, the shade looks like a mauve pink with a bit more of a purple undertone to it. I wish the clicker and swatch more closely represented the actual color of the stick. The formula is very creamy and so the design of the tip is thin and nicely shaped for application, as it reaches into the corners of the lips. The creamy texture feels great on the lips but also smudges easily beyond the lip line which is noticeable with color. One complaint regarding the design would be that since the formula is so creamy I want to click it up enough to avoid getting it all over the top of its case. However, if I push it up too much, there’s no option to push it back down and so the cap squishes the stick.
